Co-founder and CEO

  • Katy Patton, co-founder and CEO of Hummingbird Co-Hosting, has always had a passion for helping and teaching others. Katy holds a masters in language and literacy and started her career in the classroom teaching elementary students how to read and write.  After a successful number of years teaching Katy obtained her real estate license while living in Texas.

  • Katy and her husband Ryan began investing in real estate in 2011 with single family homes and then commercial buildings.  

  • Katy's love for Airbnb's first began while traveling to Costa Rica in 2016.  Since then, Ryan and Katy have traveled to multiple countries around the world while staying in some of the most unique Airbnb's they can find.

  • Katy enjoys traveling, hiking the Colorado mountains, exploring Florida beaches, and being with her family.

Ryan Patton

Co-founder and COO

  • Ryan, began his early career selling medical devices in the hospital and OR.  In 2011 Ryan went out on his own with his own medical supply company which is also the same year he began investing in real estate. 

  • Throughout the years Ryan, along with Katy, have remodeled single family homes and large commercial buildings.  

  • Ryans love for traveling and staying in Airbnb's sparked the idea of investing in short term rentals with their first Airbnb in Denver, CO. 

  • In 2023 he ventured into the world of corporate housing and now manages over 20 properties tailored to those traveling and corporate clients.

  • When Ryan isn't working, you can find him swimming in the Florida ocean or running the trails of Colorado.
